Times are busy at the moment, hence the lack of blog updates, though I am still posting to Facebook, Reddit, YouTube and Flickr.

Leslie Nielsen passed away at the age of 84, I grew up watching Airplane! and the Naked Gun Series, which are still some of my favourite films today.

He was a comedy legend who shall live on though the fantastic movies he made, which I have no doubt that I will still be watching for years and years to come.

Before anyone asks, I am serious... and don't call me Shirley.

I haven't seen these guy's yet, but I have been listening to some of the tracks on the AMFX Facebook page (you can find the music player about half way down the page on the left hand side), they sound really good, so I am going to head down to there EP Launch on Friday (as in Tomorrow) in Shrewsbury, all the details are on the AMFX Facebook page if anyone is interested in heading down there.

I will try and take some photos and videos to upload and will do an update to how they were when I get back, I hope to see some of you guys down there Tomorrow!!

Last Saturday I went down to the O2 Academy in Bristol to see Mr Scruff do a 5 hour DJ set, he did an absolutely amazing set, and the VJ work going on on the projectors behind him was also fantastic!!

I did get some Photos and videos of the gig which I will be adding to my Flickr and YouTube respectively, over the next few days, and I will post and update to this blog when they are there, so stay tuned.

I have seen a few cool bands and DJs recently, so I wanted to share some of them with you guys!!

The first one I want to tell you about was back on the 15th October, I went to see Alestorm at the Slate Room's in Wolverhampton. They are a pirate rock band, so imagine a regular rock band with lots of AAArrghhh (yeah, they did get the crowd to shout that quite a bit) and singing about sailing the seven seas, hunting for treasure, and returning to port for wenches and mead. They were a really fun band to see live who did some great songs, check them out on YouTube or there website and go check them out if you get chance to see them.

Over the next few days I will be letting you know about a few other bands I have seen or an due to see very soon, so stay tuned.

Digg.com has is launching a new improved site!! For anyone who hasn't used Digg before, its basically a link sharing website, where if you find something interesting, you can Digg it, then others can see that. You can then see what other people have been digging, and what stories each day have the most Diggs.

It may sound complex in my waffling explanation, though I assure you its very easy to use, and a great way to find cool new things on the Internet.

Anyway, long story short, I have some invites for the new look Digg, if anyone would like one, drop me a message with your email address in, and I will send you one over.
