Last night I went to the Get Happy Tour, the bands playing there were 'Army of Freshman', 'Zebrahead', 'Bowling For Soup' and the band I went there to see, 'The Bloodhound Gang', and what a cool show it was!!!
All the bands were leaping around on stage, getting the audience to part so a mosh pit could be created an getting everyone to throw glow sticks at them (which a guy from the Bloodhound Gang then drank!!!) From our position in the stalls we could see down over everyone, and I have never been to a gig where so many people were being passed forward!!! it was almost like that old computer game where beers are slid down the bar and you have to catch them, but the beers are people and the bouncers are catching them.
But the Bloodhound Gang did an amazing set, they had a big video screen behind them and as they were playing images or videos would pop up related to the songs, some of which were very funny!!! as well as that there was a lot of throwing up over each other, well mainly there bass player throwing up over there lead singer, and in his hat, which he put back on.
So all in all, not a show to go to if you get freaked out easily, but a great show if you want to laugh and listen to some damm good music!!!!
