American TV Viewing

You may have seen my Blog a couple of weeks ago about SeeSaw.com, which is a site for watching TV Shows on-line. It had old Shows and the latest catchup, and was a combination of iPlayer 4oD and Demand 5. The downside was it didn't have many of the US shows which are shown on these channels.

Well now there is TVGorge.com, this is a similar thing, you can watch full series or the latest episodes of loads of shows, though these are all American. So for example there are all 3 series of Big Bang Theory which you can watch, as well as Family Guy, South Park and loads of others.

The quality of the feeds looks really good, and the ones I have looked at seam quite reliable, so this is definitely a site to add to your bookmarks list for when you miss that critical episode of Lost. Check out TVGorge.com now.

These are a few photo-shopped images of the Tory Party election campaign posters. Some of them are pretty damm funny...

If your going to run a campaign with a massive photo-shopped photo of your own head on one side and a quote on the other, then your just asking to have it photo-shopped more by everyone on the internet... I reckon they would probably do better running some of these ads rather than the ones they are actually using. If they used the advert I have attached to this Blog, I would possibly consider voting for them.

Here are the links to the various campaigns which have been shopped. "Look At My Shiny Face" Campaign, "Ive Never Voted Tory" Campaign & "Tory Tombstone" Campaign

You can see all the images and get more info off there main website MyDavidCameron.com/, you can even make your own with the on-line generator if you like.

Happy Saint David's Day

Happy Saint David's Day

Happy Saint David's Day to any of the Welsh out there who have figured out the Internet!

For anybody who would like to celebrate this day, whether your Welsh or not, I recommend watching Twin Town, its a great film showing what Welsh life is really like! It stars Rhys Ifans and Llyr Ifans, and yes, they are brothers in the real world as well as in the film.

The film was set and filmed mostly in Swansea, though some of the parts were filmed in Port Talbot and Briton Ferry.

If anyone hasn't seen it, go buy it, its normally about £2 in HMV, and for the rest of you who do own in already, watch it again, as its probably been far too long since you watched it last.

Scorpion Sucker

Scorpion Sucker

For breakfast today one of my friends brought me a Scorpion Sucker, which is a hard lolly pop with a scorpion inside it.

It was pretty tasty... the lolly was strawberry flavour, which was quite nice, the scorpion was a bit more of an acquired taste, though it wasn't bad, quite a nutty earthy taste to it, though I did find that scorpion does get stuck in your teeth!

You can see the photos of the lolly being eaten on my yFrog twitter images.

Halo ((All I Play-Oh))

Thursday 25th Feb 2010

I have posted about Pallet Swap Ninja before, but I just found this video of his Halo song.

The guy that has made this has spent a lot of time making the video match up with the lyrics, its a great video to a awesome song!! When ever I hear it, I just want to fire up my 360 and play something.

Laser Discs

Laser Discs

I never had a LaserDisc player before, I remember when I was a kid there was a lot of talk about them, though never even met anyone who had one, and had never really given them much thought, that was until last night anyway when I was watching a Cinemassacre review on obsolete video technology, in which he was covering laser discs.

All I can say is Wow... Ok, so the picture quality may not be DVD, and you have to switch the side on the disc, and even the disc (apparently Jurassic Park has 3 discs, so that's a lot of changes) So as far as image an usability goes, its not great.

What I did love about it though was the discs! check out the size of these things!! there huge, and not only that they come in awesome boxes which look like they should contain a vinyl record. I think to have a collection of classic films on LaserDisc would be awesome, so that is now my challenge... Time to hit eBay I guess!

For anyone else who would like to fall in love with LaserDiscs, check out Cinemassacre's Review
